Family Poverty Rate by Race and Latino Origin in Massachusetts
The 2004 ACS estimates that the poverty rate of Asian American families dropped slightly since 2000 and that of Latino families dropped significantly. The poverty rate for African American families, however, is estimated to have increased by more than 5 percent points. However, large margins of error make these estimates somewhat unreliable.
