UMass Boston Asian American Studies Program
Support for Asian American studies in the curriculum has been a priority for the Institute since it was established. The Institute has supported existing courses such as Asian Minorities in America, Asian American Women, Southeast Asian Americans, and supported the development of new courses such as Asian Americans and Social Movements.
In addition, in order to increase scholarly resources on Asian Americans for faculty and student use, the Institute has supported the Healey Library in acquiring approximately 300 books and monographs for its Asian American collection.
